I might sound like a WWE mark but definitely, their women's division is better than the other side.
If you think about it, this is not even the main thing of the division. I know Liv Morgan is struggling as the Smackdown champion but hopefully, Ronda Rousey's heel turn will help elevate her underdog status. I just can't buy Morgan as Ronda's competition at the moment, especially with that ending. I hope WWE just transforms one of the two belts into an Intercontinental title-type version because I'm sorry, but Morgan at this point isn't as believable as compared to Belair, Lynch, and Rousey.
Meanwhile, they ran a Charlotte Flair vignette, and while I would rather see her facing Bianca Belair than Morgan or Rousey, her return is going to strengthen an already-stacked roster.
The thing about Triple H is that he can elevate a woman's division that has been doing well... but the old administration can't seem to capitalize on it.
We're not even talking about the fact that Sasha Banks and Naomi's status are up in the air with Asuka, Shayna Baszler, and Alexa Bliss sitting on the sidelines.
I am a fan of Bayley ever since her NXT days but I like how she re-invented herself with her heel persona. I just wish she'd bring back her inflatable Bayley Buddies as a way to piss off her enemies. I mean, "ding dong, hello" is cheesy that looped into a good taunt.
With this in mind, Triple H needs to strengthen the NXT women's product again. None of the women in the current brand with the exception of Mandy Rose can fit the current Raw and Smackdown setup. Maybe the need to bring Natalya and I guess, one of either Zelina Vega or Carmella to at least help their really thin division. Quantity isn't good without quality and most of the women in the roster are too raw for television.
