I guess it's better than nothing.
Brawl Stars' thing this December is Toy Story.
And while the Woody skin will technically be Colt's eleventh skin, it's nice that Surge will finally get the Buzz Lightyear one. Bibi's Bo Peep and Jessie's Jessie are the other brawlers in the Disney Pixar pack. For Bibi, this will be her eleventh skin, and her second collab version as she is also part of the BTS BT21 series. For Jessie, this is her ninth skin and her second collab as she is also part of the recently concluded Spongebob series.
The Surge Lightyear version will have a delayed launch because Brawl Stars will have a standalone brawler for Buzz Lightyear for a limited time.
From December to mid-February, you will have a chance to play as Buzz Lightyear, with features exclusive to the character.
Again, this is disappointing. Because more than the character, casual fans would love to play as the iconic Toy Story character. In some ways, other than some of the BT21 brawlers, most of their collab skins are hit-and-miss. I would have wanted it if Supercell had given Patrick to Squeak, Mr. Crabs to Griff, and Spongebob to Ash.
That said, I'm looking forward to the toon-inspired skins. I love the Ash and Rosa skins.
But again, just let us have Buzz Lightyear's skin on Surge.
