Of all the animal-related vlogs I follow on YouTube, the case of Leon is the one I love the most.
I am never a pet lover. My status is if I can't take care of myself, then why should I attempt to care for another life. It's different when it's your kid though - because kids whine and would tell you how you should take care of them.
Pets are different.
I also don't like getting licked.
Especially in the legs.
Ugh.
With that said, I look at life from a distance.
Take the case of Leon as an example. When I saw the Brady Brandwood vlog, I was quickly hooked. I mean... who in their right mind would buy a lobster from a supermarket and make it their pet? It's doable - yes... but is it worth it? These critters are programmed to die inside a boiling pot or dipped in soy sauce or some kind of dressing.
He did care for the lobster though. He gently took out the rubber band from his pinchers and gave the dude the will to survive.
The vlog featured on this blog is the vlog after Leon molted. For some, this is a cool thing but for a creature virtually looking at the life he left, this is awesome.
