A few milliseconds away from counting as a made shot, The Miz hurled a halfcourt heave that would have sent the 2023 NBA Celebrity All-Star Game into overtime.
The former WWE champion and multi-time Intercontinental champion launched the shot to a hail of cheers - something he's not used to since The Miz is more known for his scrawny bad guy tactics.
Now, this shot also made the usually-game Giannis Antetokounmpo a party pooper because his team, Team Dwyane Wade, had already won it but because people were lobbying for the officials to count The Miz's shot, he hid the ball on his shirt and ran away from the crowd.
Meanwhile, kudos to Shaquille O'Neal as well for staying true to his media mogul form when he sent away Guillermo in that pizza bit. Shaq is a Papa John's endorser and that gag could have given him problems, especially in the financial sense. I am a fan of how Shaq got his financial epiphany and it's nice to see that despite being insanely loaded, he still sees the importance of giving it all to live big.
It's funny how these two WWE wrestlers (Shaq did participate in The Andre The Giant Battle Royal) are messing up the ratings of Smackdown.
