Playing for the Philadelphia 76ers and the New Jersey Nets, he couldn't stop Shaq and the rest of the Lake Show dominate the early 2000s. That said, Shaq had to bleed for every possession when the 4-time Defensive of the Year winner was around.
Mount Mutombo finished his career as the elder statesman off the bench with the Houston Rockets. His minutes became sporadic, but he returns to his all-star form whenever he gets extended time.
