I hate this video because it doesn't need to exist.
Slava Medvedenko played for the Los Angeles Lakers when Showtime had Kobe Bryant, Shaquille O'Neal, and Phil Jackson. He won two titles as a key reserve and he could have helped the squad when Pau Gasol came to the squad had not for injuries. Now he's serving as a patriot in Ukraine - as a politician and as part of their military.
Again, I hate this video because I just can't fathom the thought of living in a dystopia. There are parts of Ukraine that have no electricity. Apart from that, one must wonder what it's like to live normally with bullets raining down.
So yeah, it's nice that Slava Medvedenko is using his achievements to help his native Ukraine. Most definitely, the rings are wonderful assets to any Laker memorabilia collector.
Knowing that his money is going to be used in this kind of way is awesome though.
