The Inside the NBA crew proved its awesomeness anew when they poked fun at Jimmy Butler on their Halloween Special.
Known for trolling the NBA photographers which also coincides with their Media Day, it's almost a tradition for the Miami Heat player to just have the weirdest of hairstyles.
While this is a "cute" yearly thing, I bet the NBA folks didn't quickly warm up to this idea. They hand out these photos to their sponsors, channel affiliates, suppliers, and other important people. The shoot photos are also within a solid background so they can easily photoshop it to their posters (social media or print), as well as below-the-line ads and video packages. If the shoot posters are rendered unusable, then they are going to use the photos from the games.
So the playoff image of Butler would come from the All-Star Game (where they will photoshop his head to his Miami uniform if he makes the cut), a game photo (where they could photoshop his head to his Miami uniform), or just use the actual photo without any makeover... which makes his look dated, unless he sports his emo look in April.
Anyway, Shaquille O'Neal dressed as emo Jimmy Butler.
And yeah, I agree with Charles Barkley here when he said they should have looked MORE serious if they were going to talk about the James Harden trade. If this take is going to be used for historical purposes, then they should have at least wore a suit rather than being a bus driver, a Top Gun pilot (Kenny Smith bombed here), a Godfather with a stuffed toy kitty, and yeah, emo Jimmy Butler.
