RUNNING MAN PH S2 | THE ERUPTION EPISODE

So I guess this is sports-related as well.

TV personality and former Philippine Volcanoes star Eric Tai went full villain mode on Running Man Philippines Season 2.

The episode started with him teaming up with the female cast members, but for some reason, it became a one-versus-seven hide-and-seek showdown.

The episode had the look and feel of whenever Kim Jong Kook becomes the main antagonist, but I guess the best description for this is the Grasshopper Hunting episode during Running Man's cinematic phase when Choi Min Soo sought vengeance on Yoo Jae Suk for betraying his trust in a past Running Man episode.

The fear was there for the cast members, although that episode is above everything else with its top-notch storytelling and Min Soo's serial criminal feels.

Now I do like the preliminary games. The Merry-Go-Round game was okay because of Buboy's tantrums, but the solo challenges and most especially, the tonkatsu game ruled. Mikael Daez is the Yoo Jae Suk of the series and Glaiza De Castro is like the PH's version of Ji Suk Jin. Kokoy De Santos and Lexi Gonzales improved this season in terms of character and as always, Angel Guardian and Buboy Villar are the characters to watch every episode. Miguel Tanfelix is the less physical but more brainy version of Ruru Madrid. He reminds me of either P.O. or Mino or whoever is Kang Ho Dong's maknae in his most recent programs.

I'm glad Running Man is doing the other name-tag variations. If the series is going to get extended, I think they are going to find ways to heal their bodies, even during production. We have heard a lot of nightmares surrounding the Korean version. From ligament tears to even internet haters, it felt like their success was also reciprocal to their downfall. But Mikael and Glaiza are 36 now, but the rest of the runners, including Ruru, are within the 24 to 26 age bracket. This is important because at least they are within an athlete's prime, and they can run until they have other commitments.

If they are going to re-imagine a Running Man Korean episode, it would either be The Reincarnation Game or the Member Specials. The Random Tour is another episode I want them to re-create, but I understand the logistics of it.

Anyway, here is the first part of the Legoland mission.
