RANMA 1/2 IS BACK ON NETFLIX!!!

This is a sports blog because it has martial arts in it.

Also, to borrow a joke from GB Labrador, this is one of those times when concepting a story is awesome.

This is like pitching a concept to execs where we have four turtles, who are ninjas, and they were raised by a rat parent in the sewers, and their main source of food is pizza.

Anyway...

RANMA 1/2 IS NOW ON NETFLIX WITH NEW ANIMATION!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

Ahem.

I am a fan of Yu Yu Hakusho, Tenchi Muyo, Samurai X, Cowboy Bebop, and Slam Dunk.

But Ranma 1/2 is on my different level.

This is my god-tier anime of all time.

MY BLOG'S NAME IS PROJECT SYDRIFIED: ANYTHING GOES SPORTS AND ENTERTAINMENT.

ANYTHING GOES!!!

IT'S A REFERENCE TO THE ANIME!!!!!!

So yeah, consider me locked in, and let's have this on Netflix!

And yeah, I do agree that they need to sort out a lot of things here, like Ranma's fondness to just go girl-type topless. I know most of the Tendos, Ukyo, and Kodachi are mostly clothed but they need to shield Shampoo from exposing herself.

I remember Ranma's last episode on RPN-9 and it's not the series finale. Boy-type Ranma came to Shampoo's house while she was taking a shower. Upon hearing his voice, she ran naked to hug Ranma.

Shampoo looks a lot like Lum from Urusei Yatsura.

Ranma 1/2 never stood a chance and MTRCB quickly axed the series with Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs destroying my Sunday late-afternoon viewing pleasure.

I learned how to ride a jeep after school, just to rent Ranma 1/2 OAVs. The series is also the reason why I got to go to Greenhills for the first time because I was in search of a P-Chan plushie.

I derived my style of parenting from That '70s Show's Red Forman, Scrubs' Dr. Cox, and GENMA SAOTOME!!!

I also tried to learn this song on the guitar but I failed miserably.

Here's a good version though.

I really hope Netflix will give the anime justice. I get why Dragon Ball, Naruto, and One Piece are considered part of the anime Mt. Rushmore, but Ranma 1/2 is my jam.

I've been trying to hold out on Netflix ever since I couldn't log in to my sister's account, but now I have a reason to subscribe to the platform, especially alongside Cobra Kai and That '90s Show.

Anyway, here are more martial arts scenes!!!
