I thought something was off when Giannis Antetokounmpo didn't "halfcourt heave" a shot with 0.5 seconds left after the Jimmy Butler miracle shot. It's not that he has a clear shot with half a second left but it's almost automatic for a player to reflex a shot especially if it's a tied game. The same thought happened when with 7.7 seconds left, Giannis lost his balance driving to the lane to give Khris Middleton a wild ball basically. With the defense closing in on Middleton, he threw the pass to Grayson Allen, whose offensive awareness went dark after that possession.
Even if Allen made the shot, it wouldn't have counted.
Again with the Giannis thing, but the Bucks were trailing by two this time.
I think this is the first time I have seen this since Golden State did this to Dallas.
I also remember the Miami versus New York first-round series.
Now is the right time to relive the rivalry.
Anyway, Jimmy Butler is a real playoff phenomenon.
