PHL CUP QFINALS | TERRAFIRMA FINALLY GETS THEIR FIRST PLAYOFF WIN

I saw this on the One Sports YT channel.

Anyway, I really want Terrafirma to win this series.

I know it's hard to displace San Miguel from post-elimination round proceedings, but I enjoy their gameplay. Juami Tiongson is a scoring beast and serves as a perfect backcourt partner to eventual Rookie of the Year (if he fits the criteria) Stephen Holt.

Moreover, I am a fan of their Letran connection, especially Louie Sangalang and Tommy Olivario. I thought Sangalang was a first-round pick, but I'm happy that he's getting the chance with the squad. Sangalang, rookie Kemark Carino, and super sophomore Javi Gomez de Liano are revelations this season, while Gelo Alolino, like Tiongson, is finally getting his redemption arc.

And I know Terrafirma still finds it difficult to stop June Mar Fajardo, CJ Perez, and Terrence Romeo, San Miguel has too many superstars, and most of them are riding their bench. Again, I don't know why the Beermen replaced Leo Austria with Jorge Gallent, especially since their system still works. And, I also get that Gallent had given the Beermen the championship a conference ago. However, SMB misses Austria's roster management now. Remember when June Mar would get injured and the seldom-used Yancy De Ocampo would get his spot and just effectively do all the plays meant for JMF? I don't see the sync between Fajardo and Mo Tautuaa, and most of their second-unit superstars to their starters.

I am currently riding the Terrafirma bandwagon (Terrafirma and the already-eliminated Northport, actually.) Just imagine the pop they'll get if they manage to oust the San Miguel Beermen.
