Known for his basketball IQ, clutch shot-making, and poetic precision on the hardwood, Ronnie Magsanoc was one of the premier point guards of the late ‘80s and ‘90s. Coming off a storied UAAP career with the UP Fighting Maroons, he quickly made his mark with Shell as their floor general. Magsanoc’s steady presence and leadership were integral to his team’s success. He was named to the Mythical Five in 1990 and earned Mythical Ten honors three times (1989, 1991, 1992), reflecting his consistency at the elite level. Magsanoc helped steer Shell to three PBA championships, earning the respect of fans and peers for his composed demeanor and surgical decision-making.
