A fierce competitor with a fiery playing style, Caguioa's electric performances both on and off the court captured the hearts of fans, especially during Ginebra's ups and downs.
Caguioa's MVP season in 2012 was a testament to his relentless effort and scoring ability. He also won three Best Player of the Conference awards and made three Mythical Five selections (2008, 2011, 2012), solidifying his status as one of the best guards in the league. With nine championships to his name, Caguioa was a key figure in Ginebra’s revival in the 2000s and a fan favorite for his clutch scoring and leadership.
