ZANDRO "JUN" LIMPOT
Jun Limpot was the first overall pick in the 1993 PBA Draft, selected by the Sta. Lucia Realtors. He played college basketball at De La Salle University and was a member of the DLSU Green Archers. Limpot had a successful career in the PBA, earning mythical ten honors twice (1993 and 1997) and being named to the all-defensive team in 1993. He also won the rookie of the year award in 1993. Limpot played for several teams during his PBA career, including the Sta. Lucia Realtors, Barangay Ginebra Kings, and Purefoods Chunkee Giants. He won his first and only championship in 2006 with Purefoods (now known as the Magnolia Hotshots). Limpot retired from the PBA in 2007 and is remembered as a respected and talented player.
