Jeff Cariaso earned his nickname "The Jet" not just for his speed but for how quickly he rose through the PBA ranks. As 1995 Rookie of the Year, he made an immediate impact, helping Alaska complete a rare Grand Slam in 1996. Known for his silky-smooth game and quiet consistency, Cariaso made four Mythical Five teams, captured a 2003 Finals MVP, and was part of eight championship squads. He was also a sneaky-good defender, landing on the All-Defensive Team four times. While he never won an MVP, Cariaso was always in the conversation—flying under the radar but always delivering when it mattered.
