PBA S49 | GOVS CUP ROOKIE RANKINGS - AS OF SEP 1

Necessity is the mother of invention.

I don't know how this applies here, but I guess this quote works for teams like Terrafirma and Blackwater.

Sedrick Barefield is beyond question the fuel that could drive Blackwater's future. He is a point above Troy Rosario as Blackwater's top scorer and will be their main man in the future if he is up to the challenge of leading an underachieving franchise.

Meanwhile, I think it's safe to say that Ginebra is struggling without Christian Standhardinger because, for some reason, their rotation is off. Yes, they got RJ Abarrientos, but they need frontcourt size. Also, they gave up a future second-round pick for a combo that had Paolo Hernandez. I know his 16.5 points in the last two games are pseudo-garbage time points because Team Dyip sucks this season, but that scoring stat is insane considering that Antonio Hester had just 10.0 points in the same run.

Also, I can't say anything about Caelan Tiongson and Felix Lemetti except that PBA teams need to learn not to give Yeng Guiao free firepower because it's like giving Rambo an X amount of weapons.

Anyway, here is my Top 10.
