PBA ALL-STAR STATISTICAL STANDOUTS | 1994 EDITION

Updated: Mar 8, 2023

The 1994 PBA All-Star Game is bittersweet in a lot of ways. This is the final season of Ramon Fernandez and it's also the last time a pioneer will play in the all-star game with Abet Guidaben also nearing the end of his career.

The North All-Stars repeated over the South All-Stars, 133 to 126, with returning all-star Benjie Paras winning the All-Star MVP award. With that said, eventual MVP Alvin Patrimonio was unable to attend the proceedings due to injury and the same can be said with Nelson Asaytono, Al Solis, Bong Alvarez, and Samboy Lim. This prompted the entries of first-time all-stars Bong Hawkins, Sonny Cabatu, Jayvee Gayoso, Franz Pumaren, Jack Tanuan, sophomore Johnny Abarrientos, and rookies Noli Locsin and Rey Evangelista.
