It feels like Luis Villegas is going to debut for Rain or Shine AFTER the 2023-24 PBA season. I don't know his current condition, but I think with the way the Elastopainters are playing, the UE Red Warrior should come in at 100 percent rather than risk injury.
And speaking of which, I think TJ Miller thought that he was going to be the next best thing in the PBA. It's been two decades since the debut of Mark Caguioa, but teams are still looking for that Fil-Am mystery man. This season, the league found a couple like Shean Jackson and Kamron Vigan-Fleming, but none of them were able to wow the fans. In Miller's case, the dude went back to the United States a la former San Miguel Fil-Am Steven Smith so he could cure his homesickness.
Smith never returned.
For a seldom-used guard playing for a lowly PBA team like Terrafirma, I doubt if he's going to return.

Zav Lucero is making up for lost time and Northport has a great one-two punch with him and Cade Flores. Meanwhile, of course, Converge will get a lot of good things from their rookies since they currently have eight in their squad. First-round pick BJ Andrade and 75th pick overall Andre Flores, both from Ateneo, are the last two rookies to debut this Philippine Cup.
