Sweep.
Oh no.
And the thing about Phoenix is that they sacrificed a lot to obtain Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal. Real Deal Beal, in particular, sent the Suns to the weak side of the NBA Draft for an estimated length of up to the 2029-30 NBA season.
The verdict is out on whether or not the Minnesota Timberwolves will have what it takes to advance to the Western Conference but at least they have proven their selves. Say what you want about Rudy Gobert, but real big men are needed to go deep in the playoffs. Kevin Durant is never going to be the ideal center for Phoenix because of Gobert, Karl-Anthony Towns, and Naz Reid.
Phoenix needs to shop Beal for something cooler. I don't know what the current NBA free agent market has in store for Phoenix, but the ideal postseason version of KD is being a beast in the SF/PF position.
And as for Anthony Edwards, wow!
I am so glad I still have his rookie cards.
