LISTENING TO | PASTEL SKY - HANAP

I was checking this video for an entirely different reason.

WWE had this series of vignettes in which they are re-introducing some of their stars as members of the Wyatt Sicks faction. Led by Bo Dallas, or Uncle Howdy if you want to go in that direction, they combined spooky situations with real-life heartbreak, since the group was formed because of Bray Wyatt.

Erick Rowan's version sucks as hell because his performance was so awesome but you can't help but feel his pain. He is the only surviving member of the original Wyatt Family stable with Brodie "Luke Harper" Lee losing his like in 2020, and Windham "Bray Wyatt" Rotonda losing his in 2023.

Anyway, they created a series of vignettes revolving around his struggles and it was compelling.

That said, it felt like the VHS, old movie-style editing was blown out of proportion.

Pastel Sky's Hanap is a good listen, especially if you just want to chill. And frankly, this is how to do an '80s or '90s VHS/Betamax effect setup. Gen loss video, a lot of tracking effects, garbled audio (although they still need to limit it since they are selling a song, after all,) V-Hold, and other old movie effects.
