LISTENING TO | LOLA AMOUR & MICHAEL V (LOLO KANOR) - WAITING HERE SA PILA

Here's a version that I wanted to hear without the laugh track.

After the Bubble Gang cover, Michael V as Lolo Kanor and Lola Amour teamed up to create a studio version of the song that did something to both entities.

For Bitoy and Bubble Gang, this boosted Bubble Gang's BBLGANG era. When the show went from Friday late-night to early evening Sunday, most of their jokes had to go, including all the raunchy comedy they established after the departure of Ogie Alcasid. While I am a fan of Paolo Contis' brand of comedy (Ang TV and Oki Doki Doc,) it felt like Michael V is slowly getting pushed to the side. I know this is an unpopular opinion but Bitoy's comedy is wholesome and witty, and even his green jokes like Cecilio Sasuman are seen as innocent.

In the current BBLGANG iteration, his music covers will not only give the viewers something to look forward to, it also differentiate the show from the musical comedy of All-Out Sundays.

And of course, Lolo Amour benefits from mainstream exposure. Again, when networks have their recording studios and would rather help their stars than give exposure to underground acts, it gives them a slim chance to succeed. When noontime shows were featuring the bands in the '90s, it helped skyrocket the movement. Not only did this help the bands, but dance groups as well like The Streetboys, Universal Motion Dancers, and The Manoeuvres. Lola Amour getting the Bubble Gang rub is awesome.

Anyway, here is the song.
