I like this version.
I still like the Kitchie Nadal version, but they are doing the right things to keep their selves relevant.
Raining in Manila's coffee shop vibe has taken over our airwaves. And while Michael V's cover "helped" the original song, they have since been collaborating and Lola Amour went on to perform "Waiting Here sa Pila" on Bubble Gang (or BBLGANG) while Bitoy has graced his presence on one of their gigs.
And now, they are spinning a vintage Bandmania track and making it their own.
They need to cover an Eraserheads song - but not the ones that have been overproduced. Maybe they can rewrite the wrongs made by Moonstar88 when they covered Sembreak? Kama Sutra and Bogchi Hokbu are songs that rarely get any love from the musicians but will surely fit their style.
Or maybe they can do another version of a Grin Department song, or coffee-charge a Ryan Cayabyab song.
