I just learned about this song a couple of months ago, when my cousin from the States insulted my playlist.
During that time, I was down to the covers of Scary Pockets, Triple J, Stories, and Postmodern Jukebox. These YT channels made me love songs I would never love because they were sung in the style I wanted.
Anyway, that also made me realize that I may like the original versions.
So yeah, my jacked-up cousin scolded me for having Sabrina Carpenter, Olivia Rodrigo, and BTS on my playlist.
And worse, he displaced my playlist with his - which is basically rap songs about booty, money, and f-ing people up.
And I don't like this music.
This song, especially the intro, reminded me of Gary Valenciano's Wag Mo Na Sanang Isipin. But then, the song's lyrics made me realize that it reminded me of Gary V's Di Bale Na Lang.
