I initially wanted to snub checking out the music video, because I thought this would be a nationalistic song celebrating the Philippine Independence.
It's not that I don't have Pinoy pride. I feel like I would listen to Juan Karlos's song for the romantic/heartbroken vibes, and not for flag-raising.
At least not yet, as some HOF singers transitioned to more mature issues as their careers pad eras and achievements.
Also, I get that there are issues, but if there are things that would eventually stress us out, then why even listen to them?
Anyway, I am glad that I listened to this song.
This song has the feels!
