I saw this Setanta Sports online poster and I just can't help myself.
What did they do to Jordan Clarkson and Trae Young?
Here's the thing:
GIANNIS ANTETOKOUNMPO - 6'11
NIKOLA JOKIC - 6'11
JORDAN CLARKSON - 6'5
TRAE YOUNG - 6'1
JIMMY BUTLER - 6'7
LEBRON JAMES - 6'9
I guess the objective here is to sell their product but man, what did Ice Trae and JC dirty do to deserve this online poster? I guess it's either the creatives are too lax or the clients are too nosy. If you're selling an NBA-related product, they could have at least checked their height. If they wanted star power in the middle, I would have had Lebron and Clarkson in the middle (with their correct sizes) and maybe instead of Trae Young, I would have had 6'7 Luka Doncic. If they want the guards in the middle, I would have still taken Luka or any player standing 6'4 to 6'7. Or if they really want Young, maybe they could have used I guess either Kyrie Irving or Ja Morant. I know they both have issues at the moment but they are also both 6'2. I wouldn't want to put guards in the middle though because if you're going to "same size" these players, they are going to leave a ton of headroom in the middle.
I would rather have them on the sides in a V formation.
Because at least if the bigger players have their legs cut out because of the call to action, they wouldn't look like sitting standees.
