This is by far one of the best things in WWE post-Wrestlemania 39 at the moment.
And this says a lot.
As far as premium live events, WWE is doing its best in making so-so matches watchable by inserting random hometown talents into their fold. They started the trend with Drew McIntyre in the UK, Sami Zayn in Montreal, and then with Bad Bunny and Zelina Vega in Puerto Rico. While McIntyre and Zayn were main event matches, they were able to transform a celebrity match as well as a squash match into a high-profile match. The Gunther versus Mustafa Ali match for the Intercontinental title could have been a squash match but it was not. Sami Zayn has resisted a Saudi Arabia payday since its the location's inception because of his heritage but not only was he cheered at the site, he also spoke in Arabic to diss Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa.
And speaking of the main event, this is awesome.
First of all, I never knew that Jey Uso is the younger brother. If you're in a tight-knit extended family setup, this is important because all this time, the younger brother is taking care of the older brother. Yes, they are twins but in most extended family setups, there is a more pronounced bond between siblings. There is a seven-year age gap between The Usos and Solo and while the eldest kids will take care of the younger kids in the family, they are also distant because they don't have the same interests.
It's like when your kid wants Spiderman and your other kid wants PJ Mask. By the time the younger kid is into Spiderman, the other kid could be a potential teenage dad.
Yeba.
Anyway, Jey has always taken care of Jimmy, especially in the latter parts of 2021, the entirety of 2022, and how the situation played out at the start of 2023. However, there was a time when Jimmy gave up his integrity for the sake of Jey. This was when Roman was pummeling Jey and Jimmy had to relent.
Jey has been the emotional anchor of The Bloodline and he is basically the reason there is drama in the first place. With that said, you know Jimmy is on the verge of some sort of psycho moment.
And here it is.
