I had a Saturday nostalgia kick.
In my previous blog entry, I reminisce on my old home entertainment system setup. One of the games I tried to finish back in the day is The Simpsons: Bart vs the Space Mutants. It was a very, very hard game (ahead of its time), and instead of looking at online emulators, I just looked at the playthrough.
I want to unsee what I saw.

SPOILER ALERT!

The thing about this game is that a difficult game deserves a meaningful ending. Playing it back then with all the back and forth could have been a chore if I made the final level.
I think I only made the Homer level at least ten times and looking back, I hated the Marge stage.
But yeah, staring at Mt. Rushmore with Bart's head as the fifth carving is disappointing. It's not cool like what Bart's voiceover is stating.
I could have lived well without seeing this.
Curiosity ruined my childhood!
