GALLERY | PBA 80S ALL-STARS

The 80s all-stars are one of the league's worst in terms of recognition.

At this point, most of the top pioneers and 70s stars were at their peak. Ramon Fernandez and Abet Guidaben won their MVP trophies during this period and top stars like Francis Arnaiz, Lim Eng Beng, Manny Paner, and Bogs Adornado retired from the league in 1986 before the other pioneers followed suit.

Moreover, the late 80s jump-started the careers of a lot of 90s stars.

With that said, there are still a lot of top players in this era. They aren't the biggest of draws but their contributions are goddamn impactful.

I mean... would you even dare play against the likes of Ricky Relosa, Rudy Distrito, and Dante Gonzalgo without thinking of several flying elbows?
