I hate this Secret Base video.
Sure, it is well-written. I especially like the fact that Orlando offered Shaquille O'Neal a 55-million contract in four years and he ended up signing a 120-million, 7-year deal with the Los Angeles Lakers.
Also, Grant Hill played 47 games in four seasons.
Ugh.
I am a Shaq-Penny fan. I thought their starting five that also had the likes of Horace Grant, Dennis Scott, and Nick Anderson should have won a championship. It's the same impression I have for the Seattle Supersonics (Shawn Kemp, Gary Payton, Detlef Schrempf, Hersey Hawkins, and Sam Perkins) as well as with the Indiana Pacers (Reggie Miller, Rik Smits, Mark Jackson, Dale Davis, and Antonio Davis).
I collect Shaq and Hardaway cards. I also collect Kemp, Alonzo Mourning, Tim Duncan, and Hill cards.
Needless to say, this era is my jam and I could have been okay if Houston or Chicago lost one of their titles for as long as it would have gone to the long limbs of Penny.
Oh well.
