He looked awesome in the Israeli League shot.
Meanwhile...
Chinanu Onuaku got what he deserved by scoring a savage 3 million won fine for what he did to Gilas Pilipinas and Anyang energy guy Rhenz Abando. This is around 128,000 pesos in our money or around 2,500 American dollars.
Abando had multiple injuries after Onuaku pushed him while in the air with the video of his head bouncing when it collided on the floor scaring the shit out of every Rhenz fan on the planet.
Anyang coach Kim Sang Sik and the rest of the team officials bugged the hell out of the KBL to take quick action and apart from the import fine, the league also warned the referees sternly.
Again, Onuaku may not be a dirty player, but he did enough to turn himself into one. And with how the league reacted quickly and how little Goyang did to defend him, I think this is Onuaku's final stint in the KBL. Money is the primary driving factor for imports to play overseas and whenever they have to give their money away for fines, their next course of action is to either ask for a release or feed on the hate.
Of course, some imports will ask for redemption arcs, like what Renaldo Balkman had after choking Arwind Santos and when Billy Ray Bates returned to the league after a lackluster final playing stint to serve as a mentor for the Philippine Patriots (he returned to the United States after one embarrassing situation.) And it's not like Goyang is on top of the KBL standings this season. Goyang's final elimination round game is on March 29 and with a current 9-17 win-loss record, I don't really see Onuaku as a must-keep player.
Anyway, here is Onuaku swishing two underhanded free-throw attempts while still playing for the Houston Rockets.
