Arellano’s Season 100 campaign saw them finish with a 7-11 record, tied for seventh in the 10-team field. While they struggled to crack the upper half of the standings, the Chiefs had some bright spots, particularly the breakout season of T-MC Ongotan and Renz Capulong.

AWARDS
MOST IMPROVED PLAYER | RENZ CAPULONG
ALL-DEFENSIVE TEAM | RENZ CAPULONG
Capulong’s all-around performance earned him the Most Improved Player award, as well as a spot on the All-Defensive Team. He averaged 11.83 points, 6.56 rebounds, 1.22 steals, and 1.00 blocks per game, showing his value on both ends of the floor.
TMAC Ongotan and Basti Valencia provided solid offensive contributions, while Maverick Vinoya added depth with his all-around play. However, the Chiefs lacked consistency and struggled to close out crucial games, preventing them from making a serious push for the Final Four.

With its young core, Arellano has a foundation to build on. If they can develop more reliable scorers and tighten up defensively, the Chiefs could be in a stronger position in Season 101.
