Rondae Hollis-Jefferson is currently playing in Puerto Rico. His name is also popular in basketball circles for what he would do to get another crack at the NBA.
While RHJ might make a midseason appearance depending on his contract status, or if Rahlir Hollis-Jefferson will return for another TNT stint, all eyes are now checking out Darius Days.
I guess Days is similar to the Eric Paschall archetype.
Hmmm...
Maybe the better answer would be Paul Millsap.
Darius Days looks like an undersized power forward with the burly and beefy build but is quick enough to lead a fast break. This is basically the mold of most Governors' Cup imports and this is exactly what the PBA teams need.
I don't know how TNT is going to do this season, although it's hard to discount their pedigree, the biggest problem of Days is that he's a young player in a league where the imports are thrust in the spotlight. While having a 16-game elimination round is better than the eleven games we have been accustomed to, it might take two games for a dude to go back to the US.
